On Father’s Day, it’s important to take the time and reflect on the man in our lives we call Dad. As we look at the special collection of memories and experiences with him, our hearts will overflow with gratitude.
Dads are most ordinary men turned by love into heroes,
adventurers, story-tellers, and singers of song
~ Pam Brown
We know Dads are a strong force for creating positive change in the world. They usually go about it discreetly rather than starting movements or causes.
Check out these powerful statistics about how our fathers influence our lives. With his love behind you the world becomes limitless. He is your biggest fan and best cheerleader. You know you can, because he believes you can.
He is the master problem solver. When life hits you hard, who comes to the rescue with his wisdom and insights? He eases the pain and all of a sudden you feel like everything is going to be okay.
He is the teacher and coach. Whether it is fishing, sports or nurturing your artistic talents.
He shows his love in his own special way. It runs deep and is unwavering. If there is one person in this world you can trust, it is your Dad.
So we urge you not to do a ‘fly-by’ today, or a short happy Fathers Day text. Show him your gratitude with some heart-felt words. Reflect on how he has left a footprint on you as a person and for all those times he was there to be your hero and save the day. Thank him for the tough love you didn’t like so much at the time but realize how strong he had to be to dish it out so that you could step up and be the person you needed to be.
