With summer in full swing and restrictions coming to an end (finally!),

How do you manifest a healthy & active lifestyle?

The key to manifesting the healthy life that you desire is recognizing and being honest about your thoughts and feelings. If they are negative, accept this, and turn your energy towards shifting them to the positive. Use your now positive thoughts to manifest a healthier and happier you. The more we let go, the more we gain!

Let your yesterday go, there will be a point where some of that pain will make sense, and some of it never will. We have this need to make sense of things, but it’s at the expense of our ability to enjoy our NOW moments.

Leave the past where it belongs, the lessons will find you; focus on improving the way you feel now, it’s all you have.

..One of the most important things to maintain healthy habit besides eating healthy food and getting enough sleeps, (and of course, booking a regular massage appointment at RnR :p) is that you get regular exercise and making it a daily routine (or at least 4-5 times a week of at least 20-30mins “aerobic/cardio”  exercise that involves stretching.)

You can simply move your body by just going for a brisk walk, jogging, gardening or strength circuit, jump rope at home. Hiking, Cycling, Swimming, Kickboxing, and so many more to choose from!

Our RMT team at the spa can definitely assist you with these recommendations if you’re unsure of what exercise is most suitable for you to start.

Here’s why exercise is so important:

  • Increases your energy level –  (balanced pH – acidity of the blood) level.
  • Increased subjective feeling of well-being and self-esteem.
  • Reduced insomnia and depression.
  • Reduced dependence on alcohol and drugs.
  • Improved blood circulation and digestion, regulates blood sugar level.
  • Improved concentration and memory. (Because of enhanced oxygenation in the body.)
  • Helps to diminish the tendency to experience anticipatory anxiety and phobias. (Greater sense of control because of increased brain levels of serotonin – an important neurotransmitter, helping to offset depressed moods 🙂
  • Weight (unnecessary body fat) loss! – helps you burn fat by increasing your metabolism and muscle toning.

Let go of EXCUSES!

You’re never too late or old to start something today. Give yourself another chance to re-discover all the physical and psychological benefits of a regular exercise if you find yourself pulling out of it then try something new perhaps.

Try simplifying your life and prioritize your health first then you’ll always find a way.

“If you want the power to make yourself happy, you have to assume the responsibility for your happiness.”

Happy exercising!
