Who hasn’t played Rock Paper Scissors? You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t know this game! Well, the thing with Rock Paper Scissors is that the winner is chosen by chance. And as that’s certainly okay for our little, playful decisions in life…what about the big ones, like how we spend our time and what we put our energy on? We don’t want to leave that to chance.

And what a perfect time of year to take stock of our priorities, as we hustle to get kids back to school…and for some of us, as we transition back to the office after a long stint of working-from-home. Because when our schedules ramp up, we can easily lose focus of what really matters.

Here’s an inspiring short video to help you get back on track

Re-visit your priorities. Take 3 clean sheets of paper and list out your rocks, pebbles and sand. Remind yourself, what are the things that are most important? And make a commitment to give them more energy. And acknowledge the things that aren’t, so you can make some adjustments to how you spend your time.

Did you know, the number one reason for failure in relationships has been pinned to one thing? Neglect! Just like a plant dies if it isn’t watered. Don’t neglect the important things in your life.

I’ll leave you with a few quotes to ponder, as you re-visit your priorities.

Namaste,

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” Unknown

“The most wasted of days is one without laughter.”  Unknown

“The great dividing line between success and failure can be expressed in five words: I did not have time.”  Franklin Field.

“Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend.” Unknown

“When things go wrong, don’t go with them…”  Unknown

“Better three hours too soon than a minute too late.”  Unknown
