My Journey into the world of Reiki is something I will never forget.
Twenty-five years ago, I was on a Spiritual Retreat in California, and met a woman from Brazil. She told me she was a Reiki Master. Immediately, with excitement, I responded “I’ve always wanted to study Reiki!!” After I said that, I was inwardly shocked at myself, as I’d never wanted to study Reiki. I knew nothing about Reiki, nor did I have any interest in it, yet I found myself saying these words as though they were burning inside of me for years.
When I returned home from the Retreat, I went to my usual Sunday Meditation and the first person I saw came up to me eagerly with a Wellness Magazine, pointing out to me a Reiki Weekend Workshop, asking me if I would like to attend with him.
Hello, Universe? I’m listening!
In awe of what I could see transpiring in front of my eyes, I couldn’t resist. I signed up for the weekend workshop which turned into Level I Reiki, Level 2 Reiki, and Reiki Mastery over the following years, and something that would change my life forever. And the interesting thing? The individual who brought me the magazine didn’t even end up joining the workshop.
This was all meant for me! And this is what Reiki is all about.
There are subtle (and not so subtle) energies working behind the scenes in our lives, guiding and nurturing us on our path of life. And this energy is far beyond our comprehension. So as a Reiki Master and practitioner, I allow this divine energy to work within me and through me, to give the person I’m working on the highest and best healing that he or she needs.
Reiki has changed my life, and now I use it to enhance and heal the lives of others. Join my team at the spa for an experience of divine healing.
